Solving complex problem through iterations

My architecture background has trained me to creatively tackle complex problems. Whether it's dealing with space restrictions or site constraints. Before collaboratively brainstorming ideas, it's crucial to fully understand the limitations, guidelines, and all the details of the problem. This means looking at the problem from different perspectives.

During design submission process in a residential project I worked on, we had several building blocks with a southern orientation to maximize water views and boost property value. The challenge was balancing these views with SEPP 65 standards to ensure sufficient sunlight for residents.

My role involved experimenting with different iterations of façade designs and layouts to achieve the right mix of sunlight and views. This required extensive testing and ongoing discussions with various consultants and stakeholders. Understanding the limitations and guidelines, while considering every stakeholder’s needs, was crucial for crafting effective solutions
