Research

User-centric design is key in both Architecture and UX Design. My experience as an architectural designer has given me a strong grasp of design principles and methods. Working on various projects, from concept to construction, has sharpened my skills in understanding user needs, spatial design, planning regulations, and how design choices affect user experience.

With an architectural background, I engaged in various feasibility studies and design concept for residential and commercial projects. We used design thinking frameworks like Empathize and Define to research planning guidelines, site context, and factors like site orientation and solar access. This helped us understand project limitations and work with stakeholders to assess feasibility and address user needs.

In designing residential buildings and master planning projects, I also worked on practical elements like safe entry routes and vehicle access. My experience with spatial organization and urban connections translates well to Information Architecture in UX Design. Just as in architecture, where we arrange spaces to guide movement and interaction, in UX design, we organize information to help users easily find what they need.
